Over the past year Dalgona Coffee has been all over social media quickly becoming the quintessential quarantine coffee. Originating in South Korea, the name is derived the Korean sugar sweet dalgona even though most recipes doesn't actually contain dalgona (including ours!).
Although making this coffee takes a bit of extra time and arm strength to make, it's sweet and packs an energizing punch.
Here's how to make Dalgona Coffee with NeonMind Energize Blend:
2 tbsp. granulated sugar
2 tbsp. NeonMind Energize Blend
2 tbsp. cold water
Ice, for serving
Nut or oat mylk, for serving
Preparing the coffee:
- In a bowl, combine sugar, coffee, and water.
- Using a hand mixer or a whisk, vigorously whisk until mixture turns silky smooth and shiny, then continue whisking until it thickens and holds its lofty, foamy shape.
- Fill a glass most of the way full with ice and your favourite nut or oat mylk, then dollop the whipped coffee mixture on top.
Serve and enjoy!
